Frequently Asked Questions
Is Mocksky really free?
Yes. Every mock test, result, and analysis on Mocksky is completely free. There are no hidden paywalls.
Why do I get different questions every time I retake the same test?
Each exam draws a fresh, randomised set of questions from our subject-wise question banks every time you start an attempt, following that exam's real subject-wise pattern. This means no two attempts are ever identical, even for the same student.
How is negative marking calculated?
Each exam has its own marking scheme (for example, ADRE is +1 for a correct answer and -0.25 for a wrong one; NEET is +4 / -1). Unattempted questions always score 0 — there is no penalty for skipping.
Can I pause a test and resume later?
If you leave a test in progress, Mocksky will let you resume it from your Dashboard as long as the time limit for that attempt hasn't expired yet. Once time runs out, the test auto-submits with whatever answers were saved.
Do I need to create an account to take a test?
Yes, a free account lets us save your attempts, scores, and subject-wise performance history so you can track your progress over time.
I found an error in a question. How do I report it?
Please reach out via our Contact Us page or Telegram channel with the exam name and question text, and we'll review it.
